curious jane is for girls who like to make things!
We run project-based summer camps for girls 6 to 12 and publish and in-print, ad-free magazine full of projects to try at home. Everything we do revolves around science + engineering + design. These are the three pillars of our projects.
Samantha Razook founded the company in 2009 to give her daughters, and all girls, a place to be creative and inventive in a fun, high-energy environment. Over the years, we have added after-school classes, workshops, projects books and our quarterly magazine. Curious Jane started as a camp, and has grown into an educational content company for girls. We develop this content in our sunny Brooklyn workspace. We use it to serve our own offerings (like camp and the magazine) as well as to work with like-minded organizations.
