UPDATE 3/31: Brooklyn Locations are currently FULL. You are welcome to apply and we will consider your application if an opening becomes available.
Hi! Welcome, and welcome back!
All staff (returning and new) should please complete the online application β it helps us stay organized and have your availability and class interests at our fingertips.
If you are a returning staff member, we’ll begin reviewing your placement preferences on Jan 15.
And if you are a new applicant, we will begin reviewing applications Feb 1, with interviews starting Feb 15.
A few updatesΒ
We have opened registration for programs in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westport, Bridgehampton, Woodstock and Denver. We will be adding pop-up locations through early February. If you are a creative educator interested in launching CJ to your community, let us know here!
Paid positions start with applicants 18-years and older (these are our Counselor, Instructor and Director positions). High school students under the age of 18 may apply to be a volunteer with Curious Jane. We require Directors, Instructors and Counselors to be available to the full set of weeks at a given location. Our Volunteer positions are flexible.
An overview
Our camps for girls ages 5 to 11 are centered around science, design and creativity — they encourage girls to explore, experiment and have fun. To lead these programs, we bring together exceptional teams of directors, instructors and counselors. Our class size is 12 campers, with a Lead Instructor and Counselor, plus Volunteer or CIT.
We have one team per site location for the full set of weeks at that location. This is generally a 4-week commitment (though can be 2 to 6 weeks), and you can see our locations here. To see our classes and get a sense of what we do βΒ go here!
