In this class, we dip into architecture and urban design through creative structures and city scapes. Young makers learn about proportion and scale, engineering techniques, how architects and planners work… and of course they do a lot of making and building.
Each camper designs multiple structures and collaborates with the class to create miniature city blocks. Using simple techniques and materials, the class devises an imaginative three-dimensional world and learn some key concepts in construction and community planning.
