In this class, we dip into architecture and urban design. Young makers learn about proportion and scale, engineering techniques, how architects and planners work… and of course they do a lot of making and building.
Campers design their own structures and also collaborate as a group to create miniature city blocks. Using simple techniques and materials, the class devises an imaginative three-dimensional world and learns some key concepts in construction and community planning.
Each camper takes home their own city block structure… after the ribbon-cutting party of course!
