Mini Magazines are super simple to make – and once you know the tips and tricks for folding, binding and creativity – you can make a whole library of Mini Magazines with simple supplies. No specific writing skills required… this is all about cool creativity and serious silliness. Students choose their own theme for their Mini ‘Zine and use this as the inspiration point for the different types of pages they create. For example… it can be all about PIZZA! Make a pop-up pizza page, a poetry page about pizza, flip-up pizza slices and plenty of doodles and pizza-lettering.
Projects include basic pop-up engineering, simple book-binding, blackout poetry, creative hand-lettering, paper punching, incorporating different types of materials, and definitely some doodling!
