diy projects that move, wiggle and light up!

for 4th-6th grades

While we tuck simple engineering and circuitry into all our class themes, some makers want the invention aspect front and center! This new class is for those serious makers.

This class teaches young makers how to design simple circuits with light-up elements and incorporate them into creative projects. Campers use accessible yet remarkable materials (copper tape is a favorite!) to engineer their creations.

Projects include light-up Quiz Boards, Felted Light-up Cuff, Moving Automaton, and a Playful Marionette. Plus – a Drawbot that wiggles and spins, and a DIY Operation Game that lights-up *and* buzzes!
