maker checklist
- papier mache mask
- acrylic paints and brushes
- air-dry modeling clay
- ribbons and crafty bits
- fabrics and pom poms
- adhesive craft foam
- scissors and glue
- elastic band to tie
instructions
paint and modeling clay version:

paint your mask and set aside to let dry completely. apply multiple layers for a saturated color.

shape designs from air-dry clay. let these dry completely.

paint the air-dry shapes and set aside to let dry. embellish with colorful accents.

affix the colorful clay shapes to your mask with hote glue or school glue.
plaid craft foam version:

cover the mask in stripes of sticky-back glitter craft foam.

add horizontal stripes in a contrasting color for a plaid effect.

trim around the edges for a clean line.
fabric and pom pom version:
1
lay fabric pieces over your mask, and affix with mod podge or school glue thinned with water.

dry completely; trim around the edges and snip loose threads.

add pom poms in all colors and sizes!
