Clothesline Mobile
overview
we love those mini clothespins, so we designed a mini clothesline mobile just for them! creating the paper outfits is a fun and easy craft. the supplies are simple and the designs are endless.
making mobiles is a favorite way to explore both physical *and* visual balance. adding components with clothespins makes it easy to move things around and experiment.

- colorful papers
- coated florist stems (18″), or…
- slim dowel and craft wire
- scissors, pencil, glue
- plenty of tiny clothespins!
instructions

gather your materials. collect paper scraps even in tiny sizes… the more texture and color, the better!

draw or trace our clothing templates onto different papers; cut out, layer and glue. make a collection!
tip!
make them colorful on both sides! hanging the mobile shows off the front and back of your outfits.

attach to a florist stem or very slim dowel using mini clothespins. bend another length of wire into a V shape and fold over the ends, so they can hold the mobile to hang.
for fun!
add a dog in the yard or a bird resting on the wire.

adjust the position of the clothes in small amounts so that the weight balances and the clothesline hangs straight.
