Pac Man Felt Bag

sew a simple shoulder tote to hold all the small things you need to carry with you. use our pattern or design your own! choose thick, stiff felt to give your bag structure.

- paper and marker (for your pattern)
- sheets of colorful stiff felt (12×12)
- good scissors
- embroidery needle and thread
- ball head pins
- t-shirt yarn for a braided strap
- adhesive felt or fabric fuse (for accents)
instructions

design a simple shape for the pattern of your bag. draw it on paper and cut it out.

trace your pattern onto two large sheets of stiff felt. choose different colors for a two-sided bag.

cut and stack the felt shapes, and pin them in place so they stay aligned while you sew.

sew around the edges of your bag, leaving an opening at the top, of course!

add accents or pocket accessories using adhesive felt, tacky glue or stitching.

braid a shoulder strap from t-shirt yarn and stitch it securely in place.

pac-man and an orange slice might seem like an unlikely pairing, but we were inspired by the shape!
