  • bit of stuffing (or felt scraps)
  • pinking shears or good fabric scissors
  • needle and thread
  • ball head pins
  • length of ribbon (18in)
    • *or length of elastic (12in)

instructions

1

draw a template for your eye mask on paper and cut it out. make sure it fits your face well! adjust if needed.

2

trace the template on a piece of felt and cut it out.

tip!

if there are marker lines on your felt, that’s ok! place this side against the fabric to hide them, and make sure the bright side of the fabric is facing out.

3

lay the felt shape on the back of the fabric piece, and pin into place.

4

cut two pieces of ribbon, long enough to tie the mask around your head comfortably, and pin these in place on either side of the mask.

note!

sandwich the ends between the felt and fabric for a clean look.

5

sew around the edge of the mask and stop when there is about a 1-inch gap remaining.

6

stuff the mask with a handful of poly-fil or fabric scraps, then sew the gap closed.
