Scratch-Off Cards

overview

this project is so fun and special and is a hit every time! we love these scratch off messages and you will too!

make your card with a secret scratch-off message, and cover this section (only!) with a piece of clear packing tape.

mask the top and bottom with masking tape for a clean edge. TIP: try the tape first to make sure it doesn’t tear the paper.

create the scratch-off mixture by mixing 2 parts acrylic paint with 1 part dish soap – stir gently so you don’t create too many bubbles!

paint over your message and let dry completely. (the “completely” is important!)
