  • water 
  • unflavored gelatin
  • uncolored shower gel
  • food/soap colorants 
  • large mixing bowl
  • small bowls and spoons
  • silicone cupcake molds
  • essential oil (optional)
  • food-safe glitter (optional)

instructions

boil 1 cup of water (carefully!) on the stove or in a glass measuring cup in the microwave. pour carefully into a heat-safe mixing bowl.

sprinkle the gelatin over the hot water and stir quickly and carefully until completely dissolved.

add 1/2 cup shower gel; mix well. add essential oil and glitter if you like!

divide your mixture into small bowls. color each with a drop of soap or food coloring… a little goes a long way!

pour into small molds and set for two hours in the refrigerator. then take a shimmering soap jelly to the shower!
