Soap Slime
overview
give your slime experiments a suds-y twist with a bit of body wash. heads up! this is fun to play with but don’t take it in the shower!

- white school glue
- liquid starch (Sta Flo)
- baby hair & body wash
- corn starch
- food coloring
- mixing bowl
- measuring spoons + cups
- craft stick or mixing spoon
- container for storing
instructions

combine 1/4 cup glue + 1 Tbs unscented body wash in a small mixing bowl.

add a few drops of food coloring. we recommend starting with 2 drops for most colors but up to 6 more drops for light colors like yellow. mix!

add 1/4 cup liquid starch to your glue/soap mixture and stir thoroughly. add more liquid starch 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.
your mixture will change from a liquid to a non-newtonian fluid. you’ll know it has happened when you can lift the slime from your bowl with a craft stick.

coat your hands with cornstarch and knead your slime until it is no longer sticky and can be moved from hand to hand with ease.

store your soapy bubbling slime in an airtight container.
